Testing for mold is a very simple yet complex task. Once we arrive at your home, we will conduct a visual inspection of any areas you’re concerned about. If there is no visual mold present, then we will recommend an air quality test. Our certified mold inspectors will then set up an air quality test in the room of concern. The test will run for five minutes in the room. Once the test is completed, we take an outside sample. The reason for this is so that we have a baseline to go off of. You always want to have cleaner air inside your home verses the outside. In the case that mold is visually present we will take a swab or tape lift. These tests show you what types of mold if any are present at that specific area.

Once our testing is completed, we will send them off to the lab for immediate processing. The lab will then email us the results. The results generally take 24-48 hours.
